The death of innocents is not a tragic but unintended consequence of Islamist terror attacks; it is the intent. Please, no more talk about the "spiral of violence" in the Middle East. There is no moral equivalence between Israeli self-defense and the deliberate targeting of civilians by Arab assassins. It has been well said that if the Palestinians were to lay down their arms tomorrow, they would have their own state; if the Israelis were to lay down their arms, they would all be killed.
Western civilization is under attack, and Israel is the front line.
